Welcome to the

About Southwest Bend

The Southwest Bend Neighborhood District (SBND) is one of the 13 Neighborhood Districts recognized by the City of Bend. People over the age of 18 who live or have businesses in Southwest Bend Neighborhood District are automatically SBND members. Bend City Council established SBND on December 5, 2001, making SBND the first established neighborhood district.

Our neighborhood district boundaries are the area south of Powers Road, east of the Deschutes River, west of 3rd Street and inside the Bend city limits. The portion of Elkhorn Estates between Powers Road and the COID canal is also included. Lands subsequently annexed by the City of Bend within the defined geographic boundary will be automatically included within the SBND.

Board Meetings

Our board meets monthly and is working to establish a regular meeting time and place. Meetings are open to all neighbors, feel free to drop in and learn about our neighborhood. For details on time and location see Meetings. All are welcome!
